The explore im am going to talk about is probly the most famous explorer there is christopher cloumbus. He is the person that found the new world. The funny thing is that he did it by mistake he was trying to find a faster route to china so he could get the riches of asia. When he got there he thought he had landed in india so he called the native people indians. It took him 3 months to get there but when he did he claimed the land for spain. And he saild in 1492 on the santa maria. Since that is the country that he sailed for. Even though he sailed for spain he was from italy. He first went to italy but was dienied the money to sail. So he went to the king and queen of spain and ask them for the money and they said yes. But what most people dont know is that he would sail across the atlantic 3 more times. Trying to still find the route to china but he would never find the route he was looking for. So that is my summray on chirstopher cloumbus. I hope you learned something from it.
